Rosegreen Lease Relinquished
Tipperary Motor Speedway announce, with immediate notice, they have relinquished the exclusive lease rights they hold on Rosegreen Raceway.
Bryan Allen, sole proprietor of Tipperary Motor Speedway, commented “this is a decision not taken lightly as I was and remain proud of my endeavours to return Rosegreen as the pre-eminent venue for our sport. However, with the ever increasing volume of restraints placed on the circuit I am only too happy to offer someone else the opportunity to utilise their expertise and funds in the hope that they can return the raceway to former glories.
“In the current economic climate, and with an apparent continuation of restrictive trade practices from various stakeholders, quite simply this loss making venture has become untenable.
“Perhaps the many faceless commentators who frequent social media outlets can step forward and find a way past a binding court order, a governing body who does not reply to the most simple of requests, and an organisation who conducts the most flippant of enquiries at the whim of others’ hidden wishes and desires.
“Let there be no confusion though. I remain the owner of the Tipperary Motor Speedway brand and all associated intellectual properties. As a fan of our fantastic sport I shall continue my involvement through other means, however I shall not let myself, my companies or associated ventures be tarnished with hearsay and rumour anymore.
“To all the genuine patrons of Rosegreen over the past few seasons, I thank you sincerely and wish you all the very best for 2013 and beyond”.
All further enquiries regarding the Rosegreen Raceway must be made in the first instance to the landlord, Mr Michael Barry.
