Transponders
To be eligible to race at Rosegreen all cars are required to be fitted with a transponder.
Fitting a transponder to your car will enable all practice and race lap times to be recorded in real time. This means that the times are available via the internet within seconds of a lap being completed on any device that can connect to the web such as a PC, netbook or smartphone. It also enables a fair record of any race to be kept for adjudication and can provide an indication of illegal modifications to cars.
The transponders are available from BAM Motorsport Promotions at a cost of €350 each. They are also available second hand and from other sources however they do need to be compatable with the 'Mylaps' system.
If purchased elsewhere they will need to be registered with BAM Motorsports to work at Rosegreen and it is important that you contact the office (021 463 4354) with the transponder number, your name and race number before the first day of racing with it.
